The National League for Nursing (NLN) Leadership Institute is offering three-full year long leadership programs for faculty, researchers, and clinicians, deans, associate/assistant deans, directors, and nurse administrators in practice. This leadership opportunity is for aspiring and emerging leaders, transitioning to leadership positions, and those who are already experienced leaders. The common goal is commitment to excellence in nursing education, research, and practice resulting in transformational leadership experience (NLN 4th core value, AAPINA objs. 5, 6).

In this webinar, AAPINA’s efforts and outcome to promote a Culture of Health and Health Equity through mentorship, research, practice, and education as well as initiatives to promote the health and well-being of APIs were discussed. The history, mission and vision of AAPINA, challenges, initiatives from the chapters, and plan for future collaborations with the Campaign’s Action’s state-based Action Coalitions were also discussed.

Looking for participants to help improve the breast cancer survivorship experience among Asian Women in the USA! (Click here to download and view the form) TICAA Study is an online study and does not involve medication and travel. Compensation will be given upon the completion of a 3-month participation.

The Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action is proud to feature Alona D. Angosta, PhD, APRN, FNP-C, president of the Asian American Pacific Islander Nurses Association (AAPINA), to highlight the history, mission and vision of AAPINA. Angosta is also a member of the Campaign’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee, which advises the Campaign on diversity and equity issues.

Participants will:

  1. Discuss the health needs of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities.
