Yu (Philip) Xu Mentoring Award

This award is currently accepting applications. The application has been extended to July 26, 2024 (11:59 pm EST).

AWARD AMOUNT: $500

GUIDELINES FOR AWARD:
The awardee must be a current member of AAPINA with active membership for the last two years at the time of nomination and must be present at the AAPINA annual conference to receive the award. Each candidate must be nominated by two professional peers (two letters of support).

CRITERIA FOR SELECTION:
The selected awardee must provide evidence that he or she has made a significant impact on the professional and/or personal growth through mentoring of an AAPINA member, including student members.

SELECTION OF AWARDEE
The awardee will be selected by the AAPINA Awards Committee.

FREQUENCY OF AWARD
This is an annual award given to one deserving AAPINA member at the AAPINA annual conference. In the event there is no nomination or lack of fund, no award will be given until the following year.

FORMAT OF AWARD
The awardee will initially receive a $500 check and a certificate. As funds increase, the award will increase accordingly.
