AAPINA Georgia
Goal Statement
The goals of the Asian American Pacific Islander Nurses Association (AAPINA) Georgia chapter are to support the AAPINA members in GA through research, practice, and education that aim to improve the health and well-being of patients, families, and communities and address health inequalities for healthy living.
Our strategies to achieve this goal are:
a. Providing online and offline venues where the AAPINA members of the Georgia chapter network and share resources relevant to research, practice, and education
b. Promoting the professional development of members
c. Advocating and raising awareness of the health issues pertinent to AAPIs through the presentations and publications of the related research works in various scholarly venues
d. Offering health screening and health education at community levels
e. Influencing health policy through individual and community actions
