AAPINA Arkansas
Goal Statement
The goals of the AAPINA Arkansas chapter are to:
1) unify AAPINA nurses in Arkansas and facilitate collaboration and networking among the AAPI nurses, nursing students, nurse researchers, nurse educators, and community partners in Arkansas; and to
2) identify the health care needs of AAPIs and optimize their resources, to promote healthy living and better their lives.

Our strategic plans as we start our new chapter are to:
a. Network with AAPI nurses, nursing students, nurse researchers, and nurse educators through online and/or annual Chapter meeting.
b. Get involve in community health fairs to provide health screening and community health education.
c. Advocate and raise awareness of the health issues pertinent to AAPIs through the presentations and publications of the related research works in various scholarly venues.
d. Actively engage in training of future nursing scholars by providing mentorship and opportunities to participate in research projects involving AAPIs.
